 Job Description 

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a can-do approach to Join our R&D and Engineering division in SpearUAV, a fast-growing innovative startup in the field of ISR loitering munition systems. 

In this role you will take a major part in developing SpearUAV systems and will be involved in all the development stages, end-to-end, including the concept phase, system development, integration and evaluation, moving the system to serial production, delivery the system to the end user and implementing the system in the field.

Responsibilities 

• Figuring the mechanical concept, developing, designing, integrating, and testing aero-mechanical assemblies for the company’s systems. 

• Conducting mechanical as well as thermal Finite Elements Analysis (FEA), to verify that the products meet the mechanical and thermal requirements. 

• Being involved in field tests for proving the system performance. 

• Preparing manufacturing drawings, for the parts and components that you design. 

• Finding new manufacturing technologies to enable product weight reduction, while keeping the required mechanical strength. 

• Collaborating with other engineers to ensure your design smoothly integrates within the system. 

• Supporting the manufacturing line in all the mechanical aspects of the system including preparing product files, work instructions, assembly jigs, etc.
