Hardware Engineer (Board Design)

Job Description

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer with a demonstrated board-design experience, a multi-disciplinary background and a can-do approach to Join our HW team. 

You will join our R&D work efforts and contribute to the HW development and improvement of our systems, as a board designer, from the concept stage up to the serial production phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and implement electronic boards for the company systems. 
  • Testing and validating the quality of your design using industry best practices and tools.
  • Writing supporting documents as part of the design, tests and bring-up.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in electronics engineering.
  • At least 7 years of demonstrated experience as a board designer.
  • Experience with high density mixed-signal board design layout charger circuits, digital + analog, ethernet and RF datalinks, and CPU communication ports.
  • Experience in practically analysing failures in hardware and finding solutions for the short term as well as for the long term.
  • Experience in bringing products from the concept stage up to the serial production phase.
  • Experience in working with subcontractors.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary product development in the field of drones and/or robotics/ Aeronautics – advantage.
  • Can do and hands-on approach, Solution finder, self-motivated, and a strong teamwork quality.
  • Creativity and out of the box thinking and organized.
  • Experience in the defence industry – advantage.
