Job Description
We are looking for the Head of Flight-Testing Group, with experience in flying & development of Airborne Systems in a variety of missions. You will be responsible for the following:
- Lead the Development tests, all Training operations and Demonstrations – in-country and abroad.
- Lead the group Testing/Training/Demonstrating strategies, methods & methodologies.
- Manage all flight Testing & Validation in the company, flight studies, trial and Evaluation processes starting from new capabilities to the stage of maturing the system.
- Manage the group cooperating with Product, R&D, Operations and Marketing. This includes working with customers, field engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, test systems, and resolve issues.
- Working in a high–paced and vibrant atmosphere, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure in the test fields of the company.
- Perform demonstrations (local and abroad), act as the front face for our customers.
- Handle all Certifications needed for the group.
- This position includes – flights abroad for demonstrations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
- 8 years of experience in flight Test operations.
- 5 years of experience in leading a team.
- Experienced in airborne systems development processes.
- Experienced in analyzing flight reports, data-driven analytics, etc.
- Experienced in supporting/leading failure investigations.
- Experienced in armament systems – advantage.
- Strong can-do approach and problem-solving capability.
- Communication skills in Hebrew and English
- Flight Test Manager in the Air Force Flight Test Center / equivalent – advantage
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
- Understanding & knowledge of development principles, testing, Validation, and system evaluation methodologies.
- Presentable and have a high level of human relations and independence.
- You must be able to write experimental plans and reports.
